A tasting of Milmanda 2018 (Conca de Barberà), Mas La Plana 2017 (Penedès), Reserva Real 2017 (Penedès), Grans Muralles 2017 (Conca de Barberà) and Mas de la Rosa 2018 (Priorat), the five wines that make up the Familia Torres’ Anthology collection of wines, the family winery deeply rooted in the vine-growing tradition of the Penedés since the 16th century and founded 150 years ago. From parents to children, each generation has passed on its passion for wine culture from respecting the soil and tradition and its commitment to innovation. Today, the fifth generation is focussed on making wines from singular vineyards and historic estates and recovering ancestral varieties to adapt to climate change. The struggle against the climate emergency is, since 2008, one of their key areas of action, employing adaptation and mitigation actions to reduce CO2 emissions.
